... and isn't she just gorgeous! Let me introduce you to Jaime Hanrahan, the heroine of my new e-book novella, A BUSH CHRISTMAS, due to be released on December 1 with Random House, Australia. I've had an absolute ball writing this festive, funny and romantic rural story, which also contains an extract from my upcoming novel, HOPE'S ROAD.
The family is on the road again, for our yearly trip into a never, never that is beyond our own.
After drenching calves, trucking a couple of steers to the sale yards (nothing like last minute farming decisions) and throwing the last minute items in the Engel, we finally headed off late last Monday morning, leaving the eldest son at home to house/farm sit.

Hi and thank you for agreeing to come to morning tea or ‘smoko’ with me! It’s really very kind of you to consider joining in, as I’m hoping that this is another method by which we can get all our readers to know more about all our authors! On my blog we’re having are having a metaphorical cuppa and cake on our farm at Tinamba in Gippsland, Victoria. Imagine, if you will, we're in my kitchen, which is pretty comfortable and welcoming (even if I say so myself And, of course, ‘the billy’s boiling’… |

The Mudgee Readers Festival is only three weeks away …
'Mudgee?' you say. 'Where's Mudgee?'

What better excuse for a smoko break than a visit from one of your mates. And what is better during smoko than sharing a few of our favourite things (and I'm not just talking about the cakes here!). Imagine, if you will, we're on our farm at Tinamba in Gippsland, Victoria. It's pretty comfortable and welcoming here in my kitchen (even if I say so myself And, of course, ‘the billy’s boiling’… |

After couple of weeks of floods, an earthquake and a monumental frost, I thought I'd try and deliver some good news today.
I’m home. The whirlwind touring to promote my debut novel, Bella’s Run … has finally come to a halt. I got to meet some absolutely lovely people, visited some beautiful places, met new friends and caught up with old ones. We sincerely had a ball even when driving through flood water in Southern NSW.
I know we shouldn’t have but where else were we to go .. the book tour must go on!
Whilst particularly thrilled to see the very positive comments about BELLA'S RUN in Passing Muster in The Age / Sydney Morning Herald over the weekend, it was equally as pleasing to see Australian Rural Writers get a mention in "the big smoke".
